First things first, what is an ideal client?
An Ideal Client is someone who finds the perfect solution to their problems or needs in the services or products that your company provides. They will be loyal to your company, frequently using or buying your products or services, and is likely to recommend you to their friends and colleagues! How amazing does that sound?
How do you find your ideal clients?
Start by thinking about that one person that if your customer was only this person would make you the happiest business owner and the richest! (Doesn't have to mean the richest in monetary terms!)
Then think about the person your products or services work best for. In other words, the person they are meant to serve or were made for.
Think about that person in a deeper way. What makes them so easy to work with? What feelings do they have about your products and what is the problem your products solve for them?
What are some tips for picking the perfect client?
ONE Be specific- really dig into everything you can about your client. Think about their lifestyle, what keeps them up at night, and what troubles them as well as makes them happy.
TWO Don't assume- if you don't know a ton about your market audience then it is time to hit the books and do some research. Don't assume anything about them without taking a look further.
THREE Reevaluate often- times change, people change, heck everything changes! So don't assume your ideal client will stay the same either! They to evolve and so should the business!
