FARMERS INSURANCE- THE SCHMICK AGENCY

Meet our good friend Justin Schmick, a Farmer's Insurance agent in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin area. Justin is a former police officer who takes great pride in providing safety and protection for the local community. He has transferred this passion into the insurance world where he offers automobile, homeowners, business, and life insurance!

Justin isn't all business though - in fact, he has one of the most vibrant personalities we've ever encountered! His sense of humor shines through to his clients and ensures a positive experience throughout the insurance purchasing process. 

ROOM FOR

GROWTH

When Justin first came to us, he was looking to make a significant impact online with his current and potential client base. His initial goal was brand awareness, an area where he felt his business could use improvement. We explained that brand awareness is great, but only if you first make sure that your brand is clearly defined. Throughout the branding process, we learned a few important details about Justin. He is a down to earth "funny guy" with an amazing sense of humor, but needed to be serious about selling his insurance products. When asked why he first decided to venture into the insurance industry, Justin explained that he wanted the opportunity to provide security and safety to those around him; just like he had as a police officer. His family was growing, and the insurance industry would provide a safer career for him as a parent. Justin explained that he values families, teachers, citizens of the law, and individuals serving their community.

DIGGING DEEPER

As we worked through the first few consults, Justin became more comfortable being himself with his brand and realized that the insurance world doesn't need to be boring or serious. He also realized that his personality could shine through to his clients and make the entire coverage process a positive experience for everyone involved.

 

As Justin continued through the branding process, he saw that being himself started to provide him more leads than ever before. His clients also appeared more comfortable during conversations with him, and the whole insurance process had a feeling of authenticity that just wasn't there in the past.

OUR SOLUTION

The Digital Garden began to run marketing and advertising campaigns that allowed potential clients to see who Justin is as a human being before ever sitting down with him. We showcased the positive things that Justin does for the community, including donating supplies to schools, officers, and the Special Olympics.  Potential clients saw Justin as a genuine person, and his Facebook follower account has doubled since we started working with him. 

PLANT FOOD

Justin soon realized that he needed his own space to showcase who he is, how he serves, and what he can offer. Justin decided to have us develop a website where he could direct potential clients to an interactive platform that displayed exactly what they could expect if they sat down with him. We hooked up his website with solid SEO, interlinking, backlinking, branding, photos, maps, service descriptions, blogs, and testimonials that built his inbound marketing strategy. Justin has been so pleased with the results and has seen an increase in responses and leads due to this strategy.

THE RESULTS

Justin had to reach 30 free quotes to reach his goal over a three month period from November 2017 to January 2018. We worked with him to create a branded Facebook ad campaign over that time period, and we're proud to say that he met his goal!

Watching Justin cultivate his brand and let his personality shine through to his business has been an extremely rewarding experience for us. Our success together illustrates that a brand is much more than business. Branding is about telling your story, building trust with your audience, and building a sense of comfort for you and your clients.
